Hello students!!!

First of all I would like to introduce myself. My name is Adelina. I am from Taiping, Perak and study in Selangor Matriculation College in Module III. I came from Taiping, Perak and graduated from SMK Kampung Jambu, Taiping. My ambition is to be an orthopedician and my hobbies is listening to the music and reading Hadi Fayyadh's novels. I am the sixth from seven siblings and was the younger daughter in my family. 

Since I am a Computer Science students, so today I would like to share about my interest towards public speaking, military field and old malay heritage in this blog. This blog is a task I need to complete in this

subject which is one of the laboratory activities for this semester. So, I hope that you enjoyed reading it. :)

From Zero to Hero

I have started to talk in front of people when I participated in storytelling

competition in malay when I was in year 2 and praise be to Allah, I have won

the first place in that competition. The competition was my first step to

sharpening my talent to speak in public. Then, I also participate in Arabic

Choral Speaking Competition Manjung District 2007 and won the second

place. When I was in year 3, my father had transferred me to a new school.

Eventhough I was a new student at that time, but it cannot block me from

participate in any competition in our district. So, I met the teacher who

handled the competition and ask her weather I can joined the

competition or not. The teacher gave the permission for me to participate

in the competition and she started to trained me almost two months before

the competition was held. At that time, I have participated in two

storytelling competition which is in malay language and for the science

carnival. Praise be to Allah, I have won the fifth place for malay storytelling

competition and third place for science carnival storytelling competition

which both of it was in Larut Matang & Selama district level.

Then, I have presented my school for two consecutive years in storytelling competition for Doktor Muda Club in the district level. Unfortunately, I have only won the second place for such two years. But it really helps me to improve myself after that. I’ve tried harder to perform public speaking very well when I was in the class and it really helps me a lot because in 2014, I have been chosen to participate in Malay Parliamentary Debating Competition Larut Matang & Selama Level for three consequtive years until year 2016. I also have participated in Public Speaking Competition LMS district level in the year 2015 and 2016. Although I was not selected for the next level in year 2015, but then I’ve tried harder and harder to improve my public speaking skills and to overcome my nervousness. As a result, I have succeeded in becoming the top 10 best-performing people in the district level in year 2016. I also joined the district level youth forum competition in 2015 and won the fourth place and defeated some elite schools in Taiping district. This success is a pride for my school at that time as we have never been to the next stage of the competition.
